byron bay wedding locations
Byron is one of the premier destinations for weddings in Australia! The most easterly point of our great land and home to an eclectic, creative community, Byron offers a rich mix of pristine beaches and an extensive suite of well-appointed, luxurious hinterland properties which dot the hills overlooking the unique coastline of Byron Bay. To compliment this gorgeous area, an array of incredible vendors is on hand to offer you the best service you could possibly want. You are definitely spoilt for choices. Here are a few of my favourite Byron Bay wedding locations…
The Farm Byron Bay
With a philosophy of Grow, Feed, Educate, The Farm believes that first-hand experience of seeing how food is grown and produced makes for a more pleasurable eating experience and doubles as an inspiration to work towards a healthier, more harmonious existence with our land, our animals and our communities.
A working farm and with stunning views and unique atmosphere within a stone’s throw of town, The Farm Byron Bay is a perfect wedding venue. Walk the tree lined aisle to the central amphitheatre where light streams in, a perfect secluded, ambient location for you to profess your love. Retire to the long tables at The Barn where Three Blue Ducks can create an unforgettable experience for you and your guests.
Nestled in the Byron Bay hinterland, the historic village of Newrybar is home to celebrated Harvest Cafe, Deli and Bakery. Harvest’s polished team delight in offering an abundance of fresh local produce in an atmosphere oozing rural charm with a sophistication par excellence. The wrap around deck of the cottage accommodates 80 for a sit down or cocktail affair while the grounds easily accommodate a tipi or marquee for larger numbers.
Brunswick Heads Far North Coast NSW
Brunswick Heads is a small, unspoilt, coastal village 15 minutes north of Byron Bay on the far North Coast of New South Wales and is within a 30 minute commute to either Coolangatta International Airport or Ballina Airport. Bruns, as it is locally known, remains one of those little gems dotting the coast of Australia and is a perfect choice for your laid back wedding celebration. Situated at the mouth of the Brunswick River, this laid back seaside village offers the safe peaceful Torakina Beach, nestled within the breakwater, or the long stretch of white sandy surf beach as possible wedding sites. There are also shaded parks dotted throughout Brunswick for those who prefer to be off the beach. Torakina Park, right on the beach, is circled by trees and is a protected amphitheater and perfect for your celebration.
